On Sunday night, Glee star Lea Michelle was honored with an award at the Teen Choice Awards, where she was expected not to attend. Lea has steered clear of public interaction since the passing of her longtime boyfriend and costar Cory Monteith to a drug overdose on July 13th.
Lea dedicates her award to Cory and speaks so beautifully on his behalf – I held back tears remembering that they not only shared an incredible onscreen romance, but a beautiful and extremely committed relationship offscreen. Continued prayers and thoughts go out to Lea through this time.
