“Finding Nemo” sequel to be released November 2015

Pixar is done teasing us with the rumors – Finding Nemo will officially have a sequel titled Finding Dory. As you can tell from the title, the sequel will be primarily about Dory, the forgetful and lovable fish played by none other than Ellen Degeneres.

Andrew Stanton, director of both films, says: “There is no Dory without Ellen. She won the hearts of moviegoers all over the world—not to mention our team here at Pixar. One thing we couldn’t stop thinking about was why she was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin. In ‘Finding Dory,’ she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way.”

Honestly, I don’t really think there needs to be much of a plot to get people to see the movie. I mean yeah, a gripping plot is always welcomed, but it’s pretty Pixar images with Ellen Degeneres as a fish – for an entire film… Let’s just say I will hopefully not be the only one dressed as a fish tank for the midnight showing.

Side note: I cannot believe I (or we, as humans) have lived to see the year 2015. We technically haven’t, but if this movie is set to release then, I’m assuming we will. It feels like 2015 should be the title of a scifi show that has floaty cars and remote controlled food. We still have 2 years to get there though, anything can happen…
